The city of Villalba, about 2,400 inhabitants, lies at 620m altitude in the area of the Pirtusiddu Mount, in the province of Caltanissetta. Founded in the 18th century, it reveals clear signs of its original planning. The Mother Church dedicated to the Patron Saint Joseph and the 1700ís church of the Conception are the main attraction in town, along with the Palazzo of the Baron NicolÚ Palmieri Morillo.
