VILLALBA

The city of Villalba, about 2,400 inhabitants, lies at 620m altitude in the area of the Pirtusiddu Mount, in the province of Caltanissetta. Founded in the 18^th century, it reveals clear signs of its original planning. The Mother Church dedicated to the Patron Saint Joseph and the 1700’s church of the Conception are the main attraction in town, along with the Palazzo of the Baron Nicolò Palmieri Morillo.
